WHAT YOU’LL NEED.

CORE REQUIREMENTS FOR OUR DSP’S

  • Must be at least 18 years old

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Valid California driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance

  • Ability to successfully complete required background clearances

  • Current CPR and First Aid certification, or ability to obtain prior to working independently

  • Ability to complete all required ABCD and Regional Center training

  • Ability to safely assist individuals with daily living, personal care, community activities, and other support needs

  • Ability to document services accurately and communicate effectively with individuals, families, coworkers, and the support team

  • Dependable availability for assigned shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when scheduled

Experience in Supported Living Services or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred, but the right attitude, dependability, and willingness to learn matter too.
